Collection Schedule For Residents

Set out your garbage, organics, and recycling after 4 pm the night before your scheduled collection day. Remove empty containers by 9 pm on the collection day, or by 9 am the following morning if your collection occurs after 4 pm.

To learn your collection days, enter your building number and the name of your street, select borough, then click Search.
(For example, 125 Worth Street is: BUILDING NUMBER: 125, STREET NAME: Worth Street)

To learn if your neighborhood receives organics collection service, see the map of participating neighborhoods (pdf).

During snow operations, recycling and garbage collection may be disrupted while DSNY plows and cleans the streets.
