In the wake of the worst outbreak of Legionnaires' Disease in New York City history, the city government is taking proactive measures to prevent such an outbreak from recurring. We are developing a registry of buildings with cooling towers and evaporative condensers - which we've identified as the likely source of the recent outbreak - in order to make sure they are properly maintained and cleaned.

For the health, safety, and peace of mind of all the tenants who live in your building and in our community, I'd like you to register our cooling tower and ensure that it is properly maintained.
