Children with Special Health Care Needs

The Early Intervention Program (EIP) provides assistance for infants and toddlers up to three years old who have a diagnosed physical or mental condition that is likely to result in a developmental delay or are suspected of having a developmental delay or disability. Children will receive an evaluation to find out if they are eligible.

The Children with Special Health Care Needs Program (CSHCN) provides information and referral to insurance, health services, and community resources for families of children, youth and young adults under age 21 with conditions for which they need extra health care and assistance. Eligible families include those without health insurance or those who have Medicaid or third party insurance that does not cover orthodontic or medically prescribed services.
