Fatherhood Support

The Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD)'s Fatherhood Initiative offers classes and programs for three groups of fathers: young fathers ages 16 to 24, older fathers over the age of 24, and ex-offenders or fathers who have been in jail.

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA)'s NYC Fatherhood Initiative provides a healthy atmosphere where fathers and their children can develop strong and lasting relationships. Programs take place on NYCHA property but are open to everyone.

The NYC DADS program hosts free events to help dads with limited financial resources spend quality time with their children.
