Food Poisoning

You can and should report all cases of food poisoning. These reports may include instances of food poisoning from consuming anything that's prepared by any commercial establishment or from eating at parties, weddings, banquets, or other gatherings. Symptoms of food poisoning include vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps.

When reporting cases of food poisoning, it is important to indicate the number of people that became sick and the food that's suspected of causing the illness. If possible, the food in question should be held onto because it may be collected and tested by the City.

At a minimum, please provide a daytime phone number so that you can be contacted for follow-up purposes.
