Young Adult Borough Center (YABC) Program Information

The City's Young Adult Borough Centers (YABC) help overage and under-credited high school students get a high school diploma.

YABC offer evening programs for high school students age 17 or older who have some of the credits they need to graduate (at least 17 credits) but might be considering dropping out because they are behind or they have adult responsibilities that make attending school in the daytime difficult.

Students earn a high school diploma from their sending high school once they have earned all of their credits and passed exams required for graduation at the YABC.

For more information and to find out if you are eligible, contact your school's Guidance Counselor.
