NYC Business Acceleration (NYCBA, formerly NBAT) is a free service to help entrepreneurs and business owners navigate government requirements and resolve issues with government agencies. NYCBA makes it easier and faster to open, operate, and expand a business.
For a new or existing business, client managers at NYCBA act as a general point of contact for the business owner and can:
- Help the business owner understand regulatory requirements and learn how to prevent future violation.
- Coordinate communications and services between various government agencies.
- Assist with facility disruption and utilities.
In addition, a business seeking to open can also receive streamlined plan examinations, consultations (site walkthroughs by inspectors to help prepare for inspections) and inspections from City agency professionals located at NYCBA including Buildings, Environmental Protection, Fire and Health and Mental Hygiene.
