The de Blasios Invite New Yorkers to Trick-or-Treat at Spooktacular Gracie Mansion This Halloween

October 22, 2014

NEW YORK—Mayor Bill de Blasio and First Lady Chirlane McCray today announced that Gracie Mansion will open its (haunted) doors to hundreds of young ghoulish partygoers to mark Halloween this year. The brave costume-wearers will take a “Spooky Walk” through the People’s House before treat-or-treating at the front door of Gracie Mansion.

Mayor de Blasio and First Lady Chirlane McCray will dress up for the occasion and visitors are encouraged to come in their favorite costumes as well.

As a special treat for City Harvest, the courageous participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for Gracie Mansion’s Halloween Food Drive.

New Yorkers can sign up for the eerie festivities on October 28th at on.nyc.gov/1ziu7H9.
