Resiliency

Following the impact of superstorm Sandy in 2012, this committee was formed to consider the potential for disaster mitigation and adaptation from natural and man-made forces. The mission of the committee is to foster awareness within the community of the necessity to anticipate and prepare for risks. The committee liaises with public agencies and others involved in providing strengthening and hardening efforts that will support the long term resiliency of the community in its efforts to remain safe. The committee also serves to inform the public of necessary crisis management in times of emergency.
