Registrant Project Requirements:
Curb Cut: Allowable Work Without A Registered Design Professional

No Curb Cut installation or construction work can be performed by a Licensed Contractor without the Owner first hiring a Registered Design Professional, who must submit construction plans for approval by the Department in order to obtain a work permit. However, a Licensed Contractor may directly obtain a permit from the Department of Transportation for relatively minor repair work, such as the reconstruction or repair of a sidewalk, where the purpose of the work is to remove a violation.
