Eligibility

The program is currently open to graduate-level epidemiology students (defined as having completed the equivalent of an academic year of graduate courses or more) from participating universities.

Candidates should have:

  • Graduate level epidemiology and biostatistics coursework and experience analyzing data
  • Commitment and/or demonstrated interest in applied public health research
  • Potential for future leadership in the public health sector
  • An excellent record of academic achievement

Deadlines

All applications must be received and/or post marked by: February 15, 2017. The Epi Scholars program hopes to inform accepted students of their status within 4-6 weeks of the application deadline.

International Students

International student applicants are required to have completed two full semesters of coursework at your school prior to summer in order to receive valid work authorization.  Work authorization must be obtained from your school.
