Pregnancy – Help for New Parents:
Nurse-Family Partnership

Know someone who is pregnant with her first baby? NYC Nurse-Family Partnership (NYC NFP) is a program for new mothers that provides support, guidance and information to help low-income first-time moms become the best parents they can be. Women and girls up to 28 weeks pregnant will be connected with their own personal nurse who will support the client throughout her pregnancy and in her new role as a mother. NYC NFP nurses will answer the new moms’ questions, listen to their concerns and offer useful information to help them have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.

NYC NFP serves pregnant women and girls in all five boroughs who meet income requirements. It is available at no cost to the client and regardless of her immigration status or that of anyone in her family.
