Toy Safety

A harmless looking toy or piece of children's jewelry can be dangerous if they contain lead paint, sharp edges or small pieces. In recent years, millions of toys have been recalled in the United States because they may have contained lead or created a risk of injury to babies and children.

Children can choke on toys or suffocate, causing injury or death. Lead paint can cause learning and behavior problems in children-since infants often put toys in their mouths it is important that those toys are lead-free.

It is also a good idea to store your medicines, cleaning products, or any other hazardous products in an area where your baby will not be able to get them.
