EEPC Jurisdiction

Currently, the EEPC's jurisdiction consists of the Office of the Mayor and all mayoral agencies; the City Council; the pension and retirement systems for police, teachers and all city employees; the offices of the district attorneys, borough presidents, Public Advocate, and City Comptroller; the community colleges of the City University of New York and non-pedagogical employees of the Department of Education; and the fifty-nine community boards.  According to the New York City Charter, the EEPC must audit the affirmative employment programs of these agencies at least once every 4 years.
