The API would be based on the existing eligibility rules engine of ACCESS NYC, the City's public benefits portal.
The Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City (Mayor's Fund), with the support of the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) and the Human Resources Administration (HRA), seeks two community based organizations to conduct outreach to foreign born workers in Washington Heights and surrounding areas, with the goal of increasing traffic at the Washington Heights Workforce1 Career Center. Outreach to foreign born New Yorkers in these communities represents part of a larger strategy to improve their job outcomes through public benefit enrollment, workshops, bridge trainings, occupational trainings, and direct connection to employment.
