The HPD Summer Internship Program is an unpaid internship that provides our students a robust, dynamic, and engaging professional experience. The HPD summer experience is often the foundation of a career in housing, economic and urban development, or a variety of government opportunities for program participants.

The purpose of our summer program is to offer on-the-job training that will supplement and support educational development in the classroom.
In addition to gaining valuable professional experience, HPD will host regular programming and events for summer interns, including:
Program Date & Hours
The summer program runs for 8-10 weeks.
Dates: Monday, June 5 - Friday, August 11, 2017
Hours: Flexible within Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, at least three days per week expected.
The HPD Summer Internship Program is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are currently enrolled in an accredited academic program. Applications must be submitted by Friday, April 28, 2017.
