This is an opportunity to get individual help and learn how to start or strengthen a tenants association, get information on rent protection for low-income seniors and the disabled who line in rent-stabilized units, new HPD housing lotteries, rights of tenants in rent-regulated apartments, housing discrimination, housing court, eviction protections, income support programs and more.

The program will begin with a "know your rights as a tenant" presentation by an attorney.

Inwood Affordable Housing and Library Development Project Draft Community Visioning Report Release

HPD is partnering with The Robin Hood Foundation and The New York Public Library to redevelop the site of the Inwood Library at 4790 Broadway. The project includes construction of a new, modern library branch, as well as affordable housing.
