Former Slaughterhouse Site Redevelopment RFP

The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) and HPD announced plans to transform the former slaughterhouse site adjacent to Hudson Yards into a mixed-use development that will bring approximately 230 units of affordable housing to the burgeoning area of Manhattan. The site will be developed by Radson Development, in a joint venture with Kingspoint Heights Development.
NextGeneration NYCHA - Mott Haven RFP

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), Housing Development Corporation (HDC), and HPD announced the selection of two teams to develop 100 percent affordable housing apartments for seniors and families at NYCHA's Betances Housing V and VI in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the South Bronx. The development at Betances V will be led by Greaking Gound Housing Development Corporation, and Betances VI by Lemle & Wilff Development Co., Alembic Community Development, and The Bridge.

NYCEDC and HPD announced the selection of BlocPower to develop and implement a community-based outreach and assistance strategy to accelerate energy and water efficiency retrofits in small and mid-sized buildings within target neighborhoods.
HPD and HDC announced the selection of The Community Builders, Inc., to develop the site located at St. Ann's Avenue and East 142nd Street in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx. The development plan includes the creation of 105 apartments, including permanent housing for formerly homeless individuals and families.

HPD announced the selection of a joint venture between Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE), HANAC Inc., and Monadnock Development to develop a transit-oriented, mixed-use, and mixed-income development in the Flushing neighborhood of Queens. The team's plan, called One Flushing, will result in the creation of 208 units of very low-income senior housing and multifamily housing that will be affordable to low- and moderate-income families.

HPD announced the selection of BRP Companies, HELP USA, and the Local Development Corporation of East New York (LDC ENY) for Phase II of the Livonia Avenue Initiative in the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn.
