HPD is accepting expressions of interest to create plans for the Greenpoint Hospital Site in Greenpoint-Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The development framework for the site responds to key priorities and goals identified by the community during a series of community workshops and published in the Greenpoint Hospital Community Visioning Workshops Report in December 2015.

Inwood Affordable Housing and Library Development Project RFP

HPD in partnership with The New York Public Library (NYPL) is issuing an RFP for the redevelopment of the Inwood Public Library, the development of new affordable housing, and the development of a new Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) facility in the Inwood neighborhood of Manhattan.


Brownsville RFP

HPD is issuing a community-driven RFP seeking thematic development plans for three sites in Brownsville, Brooklyn. The development framework for these sites responds to key priorities and goals identified by the community during the Brownsville Planning process and published in the Brownsville Plan in June 2017.

HPD is seeking to partner with not-for-profit, faith-based organizations, and private owners who have developable land and an interest in providing affordable housing, but who may not have previous real estate development experience. An initial Pre-Qualified List (PQL) was published in October 2016 as a result of the RFQ. 


Lower Manhattan Acquisition Program RFQ
