Digital Communications Coordinator
MOIA seeks a Digital Communications Manager with experience working in issue-oriented or political communications to manage the office’s online presence and support MOIA’s communications work under the supervision of the Director of Communication. The Digital Communications Manager will be tasked with creating content that brings New Yorkers the information they need on issues that affect their lives, managing all of the Office’s digital platforms and members of the digital team, and leveraging a range of digital platforms and tools to illuminate how the Office’s work impacts immigrants in NYC. Please note: this job listing can also be found through nyc.gov/jobs, searching with keyword “MOIA”.

Legal Initiatives Program Manager
The Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs in partnership with the City University of New York is hiring a Program Manager to advance the work of ActionNYC at Health+Hospitals, lead ActionNYC-wide monitoring and evaluation, and assist in the execution of new immigration legal services programming.

Neighborhood Organizer
Candidate will work closely with MOIA and other City and nonprofit partners to conduct outreach to communities and neighborhoods most impacted by immigrant focused initiatives to ensure that the concerns of New York City's diverse immigrant communities and community-based organizations are incorporated in the implementation. Under the supervision of the outreach management team, the selected candidates will be expected to help develop and implement outreach strategy and campaign plans; build strong relationships with key community stakeholders and leaders in targeted communities; and activate broad public interest in the IDNYC program and other city services.

Web Project Manager
MOIA seeks a short-term Web Project Manager to manage the implementation of key updates to the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs website, and support on additional projects related to MOIA’s online presence and Office communications. Under the direction of the Communications Director, the Web Project Manager will be tasked with overseeing the implementation of major language access updates to the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs website to ensure that more immigrant New Yorkers are able to access information in their preferred language.

MOIA is currently recruiting 8 City Service Corps Members for a variety of positions.  City Service Corps, an AmeriCorps program launched in November 2015 by NYC Service, recruits a diverse group of corps members to serve full-time for 10 months at City agencies. City Service Corps is comprised of high-impact service projects led by city agencies in focus areas addressing critical capacity and community-related issues. These are 10 to 12 month positons beginning August 2018. 

MOIA is currently recruiting 3 VISTA Members in distinct roles.  NYC VISTA members serve at New York City government agencies, primarily focused on the impact areas of economic opportunity and education, to address critical city issues related to poverty. NYC VISTA member activities include community awareness and engagement, financial resources, partnership expansion and development, outreach strategy development, volunteer engagement, program development and delivery, technology use, event planning and management, and performance measurement.  These are 12 month positions beginning in August 2018.
