The New York City Mayor's Office for International Affairs launched Global Vision | Urban Action following the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in September 2015. This initiative is designed to highlight the synergies between the SDGs and New York City's OneNYC: The Plan for a Strong and Just City. We hope you enjoy highlights from past events below:

April 27, 2016 - In celebration of the gathering of world leaders in New York City for the signing of the historic Paris Agreement and the one-year anniversary of OneNYC: The Plan for a Strong and Just City, this event brought together leaders working in New York City and globally to discuss the impact of climate change on water management and how cities are leading the way to protect and improve the water supply system; expand green infrastructure and smart designs for stormwater management; and reduce flooding and water pollution. Equity In and Through Tech: From Conversation to Implementation

March 21, 2016 - In recognition of Women’s History Month and the 60th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women, this event highlighted the role broadband and technology play in achieving equity, with a focus on municipal and global development goals, as well as the vital role of gender equity within the tech space.
