Fact or Fiction about Gender Equality (SDG5)” Bulletin Board at the Icahn Charter School 4 (Bronx).

NYC Junior Ambassadors is founded on the idea that the United Nations offers an entry point for learning for any subject. During the application process, 7th grade educators provide an overview of their proposal for incorporating the UN into their classroom curriculum. These classroom-based lessons help reinforce the learning and experience of the NYC Junior Ambassadors. Educators are encouraged to use the Sustainable Development Goals as the lens through which to explore global issues. They are also provided with interactive tools such as games, simulations, and videos to help youth develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills. These tools also help youth in making connections between themselves, the UN, their issue, their community and the world.
