Through NYC Junior Ambassadors we are working to leverage the United Nations as a resource for seventh graders and empower students in all five boroughs of New York City to become actively engaged with the United Nations and its mission of addressing some of the most pressing challenges in the world.
Through curated guided visits of the United Nations Headquarters, NYC Junior Ambassadors and their educators have the opportunity to visit a site of global importance enabling program participants to engage with experts on their topics of interest.
Senior United Nations diplomats visit our NYC Junior Ambassadors in their classrooms, creating opportunities for dignitaries to engage with New York City schools and to build a connection with school communities.
NYC Junior Ambassadors are making a difference in their communities and the world! From taking action against climate change, to donating to those in need, and mobilizing their communities and elected officials, they are proving that young people can make an impact!
