NYC MEDIA CELEBRATES NEW YORK EMMY WINNER “BARE FEET IN NYC” AT THE 60TH ANNUAL AWARDS CEREMONY

NEW YORK – NYC Media, the official broadcast network and media production entity of the City of New York, is pleased to announce its program “Bare Feet in NYC with Mickela Mallozzi” was awarded with a 2017 New York Emmy® Award for best entertainment program or special for “Bright Lights of Broadway” at the 60th Annual New York Emmy® Awards on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square.  Award-winning entertainer Alan Cumming presented the award.

Bare Feet in NYC with Mickela Mallozzi appears on NYC Life, one of several television channels overseen by NYC Media, a part of the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment.

“Bare Feet” features host Mickela Mallozzi on her adventures as she experiences the world, one dance at a time. The episode of “Bare Feet in NYC” that won this Emmy features Mickela Mallozzi as Fosse girl in “Chicago the Musical,” and her visits to legendary Theatre District restaurant Sardi’s, performing arts education organization Broadway Bound Kids, and the New York School of Burlesque, among other highlights.
