NYC MEDIA NOMINATED FOR 15 NEW YORK EMMY® AWARDS

City’s Official Lifestyle Channel – NYC Life – Earns Nominations in History, Special Events, PSA Categories

February 11, 2015 - NYC Media, the official broadcast network and media production entity of the City of New York, is pleased to announce that it has been nominated for 15 New York Emmy® Awards, which honor distinction in television. Part of the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, NYC Media works to inform, educate, and entertain New Yorkers about the City’s diverse people, neighborhoods, government, services, attractions, and activities.

“I’m incredibly proud of NYC Media’s creative and programming team who have collaborated to produce our series,” said Commissioner Cynthia López, Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment. “These shows use humor and unique locations to showcase New York City, and I applaud NYC Media and our innovative producing partners for being recognized by the New York Emmys for their achievements.”
