A "Made in NY" onesie, available for sale at the CityStore.

The “Made in NY” program developed by Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and Katherine L. Oliver, Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting, is a testament to the depth of talent, locations and resources in New York City. It supports film and television projects by offering incentives and special services to productions. The “Made in NY” logo serves as a “mark of distinction” for qualifying productions.

In 2006, the NYC Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting launched a line of apparel featuring the “Made in NY” mark in an effort to generate awareness of the contributions of the entertainment production industry to the City’s economy, as well as instill pride in New Yorkers for hosting film and television productions in their City.

“Made in NY” merchandise is available at CityStore, the official store of the City of New York. CityStore is located in the Manhattan Municipal Building, 1 Centre Street, North Plaza.
