July 22, 2015 - During the summer, parks, plazas, and even parking lots throughout the five boroughs are converted into music, theatre, performance, and film venues – with free admission. New Yorkers, visitors, and their families can enjoy diverse programming by world-class performers all over the City during the month of July.




Cultural Collaborative Jamaica: Arts in the Parks | July 22, 29, 10am
Jamaica Avenue between 150th 153rd Streets, Queens
Arts in the Parks is a performance series designed to spark the creativity of young minds. Each week’s program features a variety of national and local performers and educational activities.

Broadway in Bryant Park | July 23, 30 12:30pm
Bryant Park Lawn, Sixth Ave. and W. 42nd St., Manhattan
Thursdays in July, spend lunch hour watching the most popular musicals on and off Broadway perform their biggest hits. Presented by 106.7 Lite FM, each week’s show will be presented by LiteFM DJs and include surprises from many Broadway productions.

Shakespeare in the Parking Lot: As You Like It | July 9 to 26, Thursdays-Saturdays, 8pm
Parking lot behind the Clemente 107 Suffolk Street, Manhattan
As You Like It is one of Shakespeare's most beloved romantic comedies that follows a cast of mismatched lovers into the Forest of Arden. Presented by The Drilling Company, this production is directed by Hamilton Clancy.

Lil Buck Family Day | July 25, 11am
Josie Robertson Plaza Lincoln Center, Manhattan
Experience Lil Buck’s high-intensity Memphis street moves called jookin’ – a local dance craze that became a national sensation. Accompanied by Yoon Kwon on violin, Lil Buck will share jookin’ basics with dancers of all ages.
