Gracie Halloween

Gracie Halloween

October 27-29, 2017
Since its inception in 2014, Gracie Halloween has opened its doors to thousands of children from all 5 boroughs. Special attention is also given to making the event available and accessible to children in the homeless shelters and foster care system as well as children identified by the Department of Education.

For this special event, Gracie Mansion is converted into a haunted house and the lawn is transformed into a graveyard, complete with spooky actors, props, and music. Additionally, children have the opportunity to do arts and crafts activities from Blick, enjoy healthy snacks from Whole Foods, watch a magician perform, have their palm read, and more. All children go home with a gift bag full of snacks, art supplies, books, and toys donated by our partners Blick, Lego, Safe + Fair, Baked in Brooklyn, Utz, New York Mets, FDNY, DCAS, OEM, NYC DOT, and NYC DEP.

We would like to acknowledge, and thank our committed sponsors of Gracie Halloween, without whom this event would not be possible:

  • May Ellen & Gerald Ritter Foundation
  • HSBC Bank USA
  • Discovery Communications
