Permanent Exclusion and Applying to Lift Exclusions

One of NYCHA's strategies for promoting resident safety is to bring administrative actions against tenants for dangerous conduct by them or members of their household. NYCHA will seek Permanent Exclusion of dangerous individuals living in NYCHA while allowing the head of household and the rest of the family to remain. Residents can apply to have the exclusion lifted. This page provides information and resources relating to both Permanent Exclusions and the Lifting of Permanent Exclusion.
