On March 20, 2024, the City Planning Commission approved Green Fast Track – which will help NYC build housing more efficiently and with less red-tape. Green Fast Track will streamline environmental review for many climate-friendly small and medium sized residential buildings. Learn more here.

Our new Principles of Good Urban Design Guidebook helps New Yorkers from all walks of life participate in shaping their neighborhoods and city. The Guidebook provides a shared language and set of values that people can use to advocate for improvements to NYC’s look and feel.

The Bronx Metro-North Plan will complement four new East Bronx train stations with thousands of homes, jobs, enhanced infrastructure and more. The plan entered formal public review on Jan. 22, 2024, following 6 years of collaborative work with Bronxites. Learn about the plan here.
