Newly Redesigned DOB Website Launches Today

It's Official! DOB has launched a brand new website with enhanced navigation and user-friendly features for ease of accessing the information you need. Keeping New Yorkers safe is our business, and we can only do that if the public knows and understands the regulations that affects our city's buildings. Whether you are a construction professional, a home owner, a small business owner, a tenant, or a member of the development industry, our newly redesigned website is now easier than ever to navigate.

You may have saved links from the old website for information you use often. Take a moment to visit DOB online and refresh or renew bookmarks in your browser.

Are you an industry professional? Check out our new landing page for service notices and licensing requirements.

A tenant? Visit the Office of the Tenant Advocate section for the latest content and links to services.

A property owner? Check out info for your next planned construction project.

Everything you need to know is now at your fingertips. Check out our most frequently accessed pages.

Public Comment Period Open for City's Environmental Justice Report

We want to hear from you!

The NYC Environmental Justice Advisory Board, the Mayor's Office of Climate and Sustainability, and an interagency working group of 19 city agencies are working on the City's first comprehensive study of environmental justice, and we need input from our fellow New Yorkers.

New Yorkers have the right to live in communities free of harmful environmental conditions. The draft scope of this new Environmental Justice Report was shaped by feedback from over 1,000 New Yorkers on the climate, environmental, and health issues that impact their communities. A second public comment period is now open allowing us to hear from more New Yorkers to ensure that the report represents all of our communities. Learn more about the draft scope, submit your comments, and register for the Environmental Justice Town Hall to make your voice heard.
