I am pleased to share with you the new releases that are coming to DOB NOW, the self-service online tool for doing business with the Department of Buildings. On October 16, 2017 we are launching Sidewalk Shed, Fence, Supported Scaffold & Sign filings in DOB NOW: Build. In addition, these are the releases coming in the months ahead:

Upcoming Releases and Information Sessions

DOB Violations for Elevators - launches November 20, 2017

All new Elevator DOB Violation re-inspection requests are required to be submitted in
DOB NOW: Inspections.

Electrical job filings - launches December 4, 2017

Electrical job filings that require submission to the Electrical Advisory Board will still be processed in-person or through eFiling.

Elevator job filings - launches December 11, 2017

All new Elevator Application filings are required to be submitted through DOB NOW: Build.
