The New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY) announced today that in observance of Veterans Day, there will be no garbage or recycling collection, or street cleaning on Monday, November 11th. In addition, all DSNY administrative offices will be closed on Monday, November 11th in observance of the holiday.
Residents who normally receive Monday refuse collection should place their garbage out at curbside Monday evening after 4 p.m. for collection. Those receiving Monday recycling collection will not have their recycling picked up until the following Monday, November 18th.
