Just Two Weeks Left...

Just two weeks left to apply for the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP)! SYEP provides New York City youth between the ages of 14 and 24 with summer employment. SYEP participants work in a variety of entry-level jobs at government agencies, hospitals, summer camps, nonprofits, small businesses, law firms, museums, sports enterprises, and retail organizations.

Brooklyn Navy Yard

The Brooklyn Navy yard is offering a summer internship opportunity to young adults attending or entering college. The goal of the program is to provide worthwhile work experiences for college students living in the communities surrounding the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Application deadline is April 29th.

Futures and Options

Calling NYC high school juniors and seniors! Futures and Options has a paid six-week internship program that provides mentoring and career readiness workshops.

LYFE is a NYC Department of Education program that supports student parents’ transition into parenthood by providing free high-quality childcare, supportive counseling and academic guidance. With over 30 locations across the five boroughs, student parents have the option to choose a LYFE site close to their home or school, to receive all that LYFE has to offer to families.

DDC High School Interns

During the summer of 2016, the New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC), in partnership with DYCD, will offer a summer internship program for forty talented NYC high school students to work full-time, in-house, at DDC.

The High School Summer Internship Program is designed for students interested in pursuing careers in architecture, engineering, building trades, public administration, business administration or information technology.
