The Made in NY Entrepreneur Innovation Grant will award several grants ranging from $5,000 - $10,000 each to projects in early development focused on innovative approaches to content and delivery. Happening in NYC

Over the past 18 years, Urbanworld Film Festival has welcomed the biggest and brightest on screen, from talented actors and directors to key industry influencers. This year's festival runs September 23-27.

The 53rd New York Film Festival takes place September 25-October 11, featuring a range of cinematic visions, short films, and talks with leading industry experts. The inaugural edition of the "Made in NY" short film program is sponsored by the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment.

The 11th Annual NYC Mental Health Film Festival on September 26 aims to be a positive voice promoting human justice and human rights for people with mental health concerns.

The International Film Institute of New York is offering a free seminar to help students prepare for higher education in film and media. Taking place October 15, the event will discuss schools, employment opportunities in media, and the college application process as it relates to film school requirements.
