New York State Law requires any person who performs a Marriage Ceremony within the City of New York to register with the Office of the City Clerk prior to performing the Marriage Ceremony. Upon submitting this Marriage Officiant Registration Application, you will receive a Confirmation Number. To complete your application, you must bring your Confirmation Number along with your payment, proper identification, and any additional required documentation to the
of the City Clerk, or you may mail in the application materials along with your payment.
Please note that applications submitted online expire after 21 days. If you do not complete your application at the Office of the City Clerk before then, you will need to resubmit it.
