The times listed for closures for street fairs are for the actual times of the street fairs themselves. The streets may be closed for longer to allow for set-up and breakdown. Street fair organizers are generally permitted to begin set-up at 8 am and breakdown must be completed by 7 pm.

Manhattan

East 11th Street between 4th Avenue and 3rd Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

East 13th Street between Avenue A and 1st Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to install new gas service.

East 17th Street between Union Square East/Park Avenue South and Irving Place

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 19th Street between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 8 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

West 25th Street between 10th Avenue and 11th Avenue

This street will be closed from 3 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

West 29th Street between 8th Avenue and 7th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

West 30th Street between 6th Avenue and Broadway

This street will be closed from 4 am Saturday to 9 pm Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

West 54th Street between Broadway and 7th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 56th Street between Avenue of Americas and 7th Avenue

This street will be closed from 7 am to 7 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

East 60th Street between 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue

This street will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

East 74th Street between York Avenue and Dead End

This street will be closed from 12:01 am to 9 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

East 76th Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

University Place between Waverly Place and East 8th Street

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

William Street between Beekman Street and Ann Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 6 pm Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

Beekman Street between Theatre Alley and Nassau Street

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate facade repairs.

Vandam Street between Greenwich Street and Hudson Street

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Greenwich Street between Edgard Street and Rector Street

This street will be closed from 12:01asm Saturday through 11:59 pm Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

Grand Street between Wooster Street and Greene Street

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Wooster Street between Broome Street and Spring Street

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Clinton Street between Broome Street and Grand Street

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 2 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm to facilitate water main utility construction.

Walker Street between Cortlandt Alley and Lafayette Street

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Exchange Place between Broad Street and New Street

This street will be closed Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 4th Street between Washington Square East and Greene Street

This street will be closed from 7 am to 3 pm Friday, 8 am to 3 pm Saturday and 9 am to 3 pm Sunday through September 2018 to facilitate NYCDDC water main installation work.

The following street will be closed Sunday through Thursday November 1, 2018 from 10 am to 9 pm for DOT Weekend Walks Doyers Street Seasonal Street (Daily) as permitted by the Mayor’s Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

Stone Street Pedestrian Mall (Daily)

The following streets will be closed through Friday November 30, 2018 from 10 am to 11 pm for Stone Street Pedestrian Mall (Daily) as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

Brooklyn

Brooklyn-Queens Expressway under Sackett Street Bridge

One of three lanes in each direction will be closed from 12:01 am to 5 am Friday, from 12:01 am to 6 am Saturday and from 12:01 am to 9 am Sunday. Two of three lanes in each direction will be closed from 1 am to 5 am Friday, from 1 am to 6 am Saturday and from 2 am to 7 am Sunday. These closures are necessary through September 2018 to facilitate NYCDOT Bridges Sackett Street Bridge rehabilitation work.

Sterling Place between Schenectady Avenue and Utica Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Carroll Street between 6th Avenue and 7th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Pacific Street between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Autumn Moon and Lantern Parade

The following streets will be closed Sunday from 1 pm to 3 pm for Autumn Moon and Lantern Parade at the discretion of NYPD.

Flatbush Frolic

The following street will be closed Sunday form 10 am to 6 pm for Flatbush Frolic as permitted by the Mayor’s Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

  • Cortelyou Road between Coney Island Avenue and Ocean Avenue

Manhattan/Queens

Ed Koch/Queensboro Bridge

The eastbound (Queens-bound) south outer roadway will be closed, and the westbound (Manhattan-bound) north outer roadway will be reduced in width, from 9 pm Friday night, September 21, 2018 to 6 am Saturday morning, to facilitate NYCDOT Bridges deck replacement.

Brooklyn/Queens

Metropolitan Avenue Bridge over Newtown Creek

One lane in either direction will be closed Saturdays through September 2018, from 7 am to 1 pm to facilitate NYCDOT Bridges repairs. At least one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. Lane closures will not occur on this bridge when the Grand Street Bridge is fully closed. Only one bridge will have closures each Saturday.

Grand Street Bridge over Newtown Creek

This bridge will be fully closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic Saturdays through September 2018, from 7 am to 3 pm to facilitate NYCDOT Bridges repairs. Bridge closures will not occur when the Metropolitan Avenue Bridge has lane closures. Only one bridge will have closures each Saturday.

Queens

37th Avenue between 43rd Street and 48th Street

This street will be closed from 12:01 am to 11:59 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

Beach 109th Street between Rockaway Beach Boulevard and Rockaway Beach Drive

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Rockaway Beach Drive between Beach 108th Street and Beach 109th Street

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Queens Hispanic Parade

The following streets will be closed Sunday from 12 pm noon to 2 pm for Queens Hispanic Parade at the discretion of NYPD.

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.
