Queens Borough Hall Municipal Garage and Parking Field Closure
DOT has informed elected officials and stakeholders that the Queens Borough Hall Municipal Garage and Parking Field will be closed beginning tomorrow, 9/24, for safety reasons. We are encouraging and directing travelers to use subways, buses and other garages in this area to meet their travel needs. We will continue to work with the local community to help address its parking needs, and Traffic Enforcement Agents have been assigned to the area starting tomorrow. DOT will also be announcing a related suspension of Alternate Side Parking tomorrow in the immediate area, in addition to the citywide suspension Thursday and Friday for Rosh Hashanah.
