NYC DOT and MTA Announce the Closing of the Northbound Entrance Ramp at First Avenue to the Willis Avenue Bridge at East 125th Street this Weekend
Motorists wishing to access the Willis Avenue Bridge from First Avenue must follow the posted detour to the Madison Avenue Bridge
The New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) and the MTA Bridges and Tunnels announce the closing of the First Avenue northbound entrance ramp to the Willis Avenue Bridge at East 125th street this weekendfrom 9 pm on Saturday, October 17th, 2015 through 9 am on Sunday, October 18th, 2015. The closing will facilitate the construction by MTA/TBTA of a temporary exit ramp at the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge to 2nd Ave / Harlem River Drive.
Motorists wishing to access the Willis Avenue Bridge from 1st Avenue must follow the posted detour to the Madison Avenue Bridge. The northbound FDR/Harlem River Drive ramp to the Willis Avenue Bridge will remain open.
