FAMILY INSTITUTE CONFERENCE
Discusses Impact Of Medicaid Managed Care
Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani this morning addressed the annual conference of the Puerto Rican Family Institute at the New York University Law School in Lower Manhattan. The conference , which has been held annually by the Institute since 1960, focused on impact of Medicaid Managed Care programs on the Latino community in New York City.
Joining the Mayor at the conference were Luis Miranda, President of the Hispanic Federation, the City's Mental Health Commissioner Dr. Neal Cohen, Congresswoman Nydia Velasquez and Dr. Peter Preziosi, Director of the Mayor's Office of Managed Care.
