What is the application approval process for a Parking Permit for People with Disabilities?

The Department of Transportation sends completed applications to a Department of Health and Mental Hygiene assessment center within five business days. The center then contacts you to schedule a certification appointment. If you’re approved by the assessment center physician, the Department of Transportation will issue you a permit.
