Adult Protective Services

Adult Protective Services (APS) provides help to adults 18 and older who, because of mental or physical disabilities, are unable to manage their own resources, carry out the activities of daily living, or protect themselves from neglect or hazardous situations without help from others, and have no one available who is willing and able to responsibly assist.

APS caseworkers conduct home visits to complete assessments, determine eligibility, and implement services for those who are eligible.
