Water and Sewer Bill

You can pay your water and sewer bill online, over the phone, by mail, or in person.

Visit www.nyc.gov/dep to sign up for "My DEP Account" to:

  • Track your water use
  • Pay your bill online
  • Sign up for paperless billing
  • Sign up for online leak notifications

You may also contact DEP Customer Service by email at customerservice@dep.nyc.gov or by phone at (718) 595-7000 for assistance and information with the following:

  • Change the name on your water bill
  • Arrange for a final meter reading
  • Obtain your current balance
  • Obtain due dates
  • Request information regarding the calculation of your water bill
  • Dispute the charges on your water bill
  • Request additional information

You can also update owner contact information by completing and returning the Customer Registration Form.

The DEP Customer Service Call Center hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.
