Operating Requirements

    Every dealer in firearms must keep a bound book documenting each sale or purchase of a firearm

      An annual inventory of firearms must be filed with the License Division and the police precinct where the dealership is located

        This license is valid for up to two years. Licenses must be renewed before January 1st of the year on which the license will expire.

            All employees handling inventory must possess licenses or permits issued by the License Division, such as a Carry Business License or a Premises Business License in order to handle inventory.
