Information About Standpipes

Owners are responsible for inspection, testing and maintenance of the standpipe system in accordance with New York City Fire Code, Section 905 and NFPA 25 National Alarm Fire and Signaling Code.

Records of all inspections and maintenance must be kept on premise for a minimum of three years.

These records must be kept available at all times for Fire Department personnel.
