Before you submit your application

    Street address of the site the applicant will investigate.

      Estimated lot size of the site being investigated (in hectares or square feet).

      • 3
        Borough, block and lot number and zoning of the site being investigated.

        • 4
          Dates for any BIG Grants previously awarded to the applicant.

          • 5
            A Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment or other suitable documentation indicating that the property contains a Recognized Environmental Condition that has not been cleaned up.

              Steps to apply in person:

              Complete the BIG Program application, available in the Application Materials section above and include invoices for eligible services and activities performed by a Qualified Vendor.

                Once the application is completed, the applicant should email the completed application as an attachment to the BIG Program Administrator using the contact information available below.

                • 3
                  The Administrator will determine the completeness of the application and verify the eligibility of the applicant and the project.

                  • 4
                    The applicant will be notified by the Administrator of the decision regarding the grant award.

                    • 5
                      If the Administrator determines that the grant may be awarded, the applicant will receive a reimbursement check for the funds requested in the grant application.
