Radiation Producing Equipment - Certificate of Registration

The owner or operator of any radiation installation or of any radiation equipment in operable condition intended to be used for patient clinical diagnosis and/or treatment must obtain a current Radiation Producing Equipment - Certificate of Registration from the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) in order to establish (set up), maintain or operate such equipment. Registrations are categorized by facility, and where applicable, permit and establishment type numbers. Registrations must be renewed every two years.
