De Blasio Administration Announces Update to Communications Team

NEW YORK––The de Blasio administration today announced that Peter Kadushin has been promoted to Deputy Director of Communications for the Mayor’s Office. Kadushin will support the development of communications strategies; identify problems and solutions to pressing communications issues; and act as a liaison between City agencies and senior staff. Kadushin previously served as Communications Advisor to the Mayor’s Office, where he coordinated responses to breaking news and events. Prior to this, he served as Communications Advisor to Deputy Mayor Richard Buery and supported the administration’s Pre-K for All implementation efforts.

Before joining the de Blasio administration, Kadushin served as Deputy Press Secretary for the United Federation of Teachers.
