NYPD Precincts & Firehouses

The two NYPD precincts that cover the district of Bedford-Stuyvesant are the 79th Precinct and 81st Precinct.

PSA 3 covers all of the NYCHA developments within the district of Bedford-Stuyvesant.

The 79th Precinct Community Council meetings typically take place on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM at Brooklyn Job Corps Ctr., located at 585 Dekalb Avenue. Kim Best is the President of the 79th Precinct Community Council.

The 81st Precinct Community Council meetings typically take place on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Bed-Stuy Multi-Service Center, located at 1958 Fulton Street. Daniel Fisher is the President of the 81st Precinct Community Council.

The PSA 3 Community Council meetings typically take place on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM at Brooklyn Job Corps Ctr., located at 585 Dekalb Avenue. Mary Andrews is the President of the PSA 3 Community Council.
