Resetting Your Password

Password Reset Instructions

If a new CapGrants ID has been created for you, or if you have an account but have forgotten your password, you will need to reset your password.

Use the following link to access the password reset service:
https://nycpss.nyc.gov/sspr/public/forgottenpassword

To reset your password, click the drop down list at the top of the page and select “OMB-Business Partners.” Enter your CapGrants ID (i.e., your email address) and your last name in the corresponding fields, complete a CAPTCHA task as prompted, and click “Search.”



On the following page, click the “Continue” button to send a reset code to your email address.



You will then receive an email containing a reset code:



Copy the reset code from the email into the box shown below and click the “Check Code” button.



You will be taken to the following page. Click the “Continue” button.



On the next page, enter the new password you would like to set for your account. Be sure to follow the password criteria found on this page. Once entered, click the “Change Password” button.



Once complete, you will be taken to the following page, showing that your password has been successfully reset. You will also receive an email from citywideservicedesk@doitt.nyc.gov indicating that your password has been reset.
